MUAHAHAHA i have returned from teh depths of slothland. i have finally decided to make an effort to update this blog, but whether this thing revives or not, it's to be seen!

today was nat day celebrations, and welllll. it's totally slack compared to the previous few years of high school, cause the programme is almost equivalent to no program! i spent most of the time playing rush hour on siew's phone anyway, and the twenty levels were solved in just a short timespan :D

anyway i went to acsi today to watch a dance performance and it was quite good i must say. the dance style and genre was different from Dance Night though, there were more modern and contemporary dances in this one. and there were dances which tried to convey the effect of cultural dances, but some weren't that successful. caught up ABIT HAHAHA with pri school friend whom i haven't met in eight years! and also saw friend on stage dancing, wouldn't even have known if crystal didn't tell me! yeah, and the ambience is so much better than our sad cramped auditorium too. was pretty much worth the watch (: saaaadly didn't buy flowers though.

ate haagen-dazs too (: coooookie chunk. and the themesong for slumdog is stuck in my head once again, it's just way too catchy. think i enjoyed that one best (:

collected new specs today :D it's whiteeeee and hui says it's aa! but i think it's quite nice, just that hmm. it's abit different from my old specs so it'll take abit of time to adjust i think. plus i can see more of the frames from the corners of my eyes cause it's kinda wider at that part of the frame.

took a break today and played mahjong (: beginner's luck occurred today for someone! in the end i lost quite alot, not unusual (oops double negative) considering i usually get a net loss in value of chips after the end of several rounds.

csm today was full of rubbish again, no different from the past four years (: just that we didn't have a nice classroom to hide in anymore this year, since we no longer belong to high school, thus us fris people ended up wandering around different parts of the school searching for forms of entertainment, in vain.

was quite entertaining when we were standing at the first floor of block A and melvin just exclaimed that someone managed to sneak into the classroom. then the poor npcc guy asked us to move to a side so we wouldnt block the door and went in to check.. to find an empty class :D

our best attempt was block D classrooms, where we nearly made it unnoticed, but someone just happened to find us.

was quite epic cause he really didn't know how to react, and by some form of telekinesis, we all decided to stone and not react at all! of course we weren't that dumb to remain in the class after he left, so we just sat outside of the same class along the corridor, which turned out to be legal -.- how retarded.

flicked along the grass patch for awhile after we stoned for too long. OH AND PLAYED WITH DSLRs HAHA OMG THEY'RE TOTALLY LOVE AHHH. yangxuan was totally running from me and i used it as a tool to chase the npccs away too :DDD ah well. okay i suddenly don't feel like finishing up this post. bye. poof.

hmmm i feel quite at a loss now. i'm back home before the sun sets for the first time in.. three months or so. in other words, i've been staying back in school ever since orientation! well, it's kinda irresistable since the class bench system thing totally promotes interaction between people, and i enjoy loitering around school looking for other friends to mug/play/flick/slack with (:

in fact, i think i've made like a million new friends just by crashing benches and wings, cause i decided to randomly say hi to friends' friends. then there's fris too, where us j1s are totally nuts over flicking in central plaza and the ends of the two wings, or the field when it's not that hot. it totally keeps us in school for hours, sometimes for a period of time equivalent or even longer than training! passion.

okay i really don't know what i should do now, i lack motivation to do work since i usually do work only in school before i come home to slack. plus today is like the usually stay till very late day, since mum has class and won't be back till around ten plus after she leaves for class. dang, i should ask someone out now to like mug with me through the night then come home later or something, else i suspect i'm just going to waste the day.


ohhh. i just got back from iluma anyway, it's quite a pretty place but rather empty like the newspaper said! half the class went to filmgarde to watch X Men Origins: Wolverine, and it wasn't that bad. the special effects were good (: but the ending was kinda sad imo. watch it yourself, no spoilers here! the peranakan museum prior to the movie was quite pointless, as we just went about as a class not absorbing anything at all, but just making imprints of stuff like dragons and phoenixes, and taking photos. at least it was a break from school!

mm went for frisbee outing yesterday, it was supposed to start at 11am @ ECP but i was kinda feeling lazy and had to do stuffs at home too so i only left at around 2.45 to head there. it ended up raining heavily halfway, so i met them at parkway instead. luckily i called xinmei before attempting to walk there, else i would be stranded alone in the rain at ecp while they made their way to parkway!

did nothing much actually, but was more of the company (: played pool, had relatively acceptable form so was quite enjoyable. my table had weijie, jiajie and oli, and it was super funny HAHA. weijie's was like the king of all the flukes, no matter how he hit the cue ball, a ball will go in :D the most spectacular one was when he did a shot against the rail, and the cue ball rebounded to hit another to cut cleanly into the middle hole, we were totally.. stunned. it was like a ninety degree cut.

after that was dinner at a random isolated corner of parkway. all of us split up to buy food since we couldn't come to a consensus, and i ended up binging again heh. beef noodles, cheesecake, choco, sotong balls and a litre of vitasoy. left slightly before nine, and i abandoned the rest and rushed down to catch the hourly shuttle bus back to sengkang, since i didn't feel like taking 43 home. should have more random outings like these, and to those who couldn't make it, have to make it next time!

oh oh, the hcult played the spot the difference game and we managed to break into the highscores. we're registered as Bad Name, since hcult was rejected (:

glad that it's finally the march holidays! although it really isn't much of a holiday since my week is quite packed, nonetheless, i'm quite thankful for the break after these few weeks of hectic activity.

school's been loading us with a never-ending(limits :D) pile of work to do ever since the first week of orientation ended! since then, it's been the routine stay back in school till evening/night to do tutorials/mug and go home for dinner. almost every single night, i come home totally exhausted and end up falling asleep on the floor! i hope i don't burn out eventually, cause i think studying in school is much much more productive than doing so at home, and it's much nicer than home too (:

so, updates! time has flashed past, tests have arrived already, loads of activities too! post-orientation party, dramafeste (which was kinda disappointing), frisbee, etc etc. birthday celebrations, x-country, study groups, and loads of other fun but exhaustive activities!

holidays will be packed toooo. monday and tuesday are booked by the disease workshop in school. wednesday's reserved for frisbee in the morning, edwin's housewarming till evening/night, and stayover and jieqi's house which will drag till thursday (: then there's frisbee once again on friday, and not sure if i should go out on saturday!

yeah so i think i should start on my homework soon yes, cause looking at my schedule, i probably will have hardly any time to do work at all =/

yep it's cny, so happy cny to everyone (:

i quite hope people will stop the 'happy niu year' thing, cause it's just so AHH. cold and punny. and it gets quite sickening after it's being repeated all over everywhere! i admit i laughed at it when i first heard of it, but since then it's turned all dry and boring and lame, all a result of overusage.

cny eve and eve's eve was spent on reunion dinners! had steamboat and aunt's homecooked dishes respectively (: haha esp at cousin's house, where we all played guitar heroes x) i think the drums were really good for helping me to train tempo, but it's still horribly confusing and difficult!

and in a flash, it's chinese new year day itself already, and there was a solar eclipse today, which was kinda cool :D it's kinda deceiving actually, without any form of equipment which shields light from your eyes, the sun still looks full cause it's just bright. however, aided by sunglasses/x-ray film, you can actually see that the sun is masked until it's just like a crescent moon! snapped a few pictures, all of which aren't with me (: oh, and the day was just visiting paternal side, before heading down to cousin's house to play mahjong (:

i suddenly have an urge to splurge on new shirts, cause i quite like my new shirt which i bought in hk :D and since my shirt stock is extremely limited, i should totally purchase new ones to decrease the monotony :D

edit: my fux deluxe arrived from australia on monday, and it's REALLY HUGE. i think i should have got The Complete Seed instead, but oh well, something struck off my wishlist! :D

dumdeedum. i gymed yesterday, which is my first exercise in around a month and half. as a result, i'm aching all over. at least it feels really good to stretch those old weary muscles every now and then, and feel the strain :D

and so school's being going on as usual, at least it's been better now with reduced duration and frequency of breaks, and slightly better content. like today's math lecture on proportion, it wasn't covered in s4 but it wasn't a major topic too, thus the lecturers were able to touch on something actually new for once. physics lectures are still completely unappealing, partially cause of my lack of interest in the dry topic. on the contrary, bio ones have been great :D there were real engaging activities like the 'blood' mystery, and sms contest!!

not to mention i've suddenly become extremely hardworking. i spent approximately eight hours on math tutorial just for practice, when i didn't even spend two hours on homework in the past. let's just hope it holds. for a start, i can tackle my nygh papers and chem tutorials ><

caught inkheart too (: was a sweet movie i guess, definitely worth the money to watch. well-written and directed, with its fairytale-ish storyline. if you're interested to find out more you can go read movie reviews online! thanks for company too :D

don't know if it's psychological or what, but i still feel there's a bbq smell after two baths! yeah, so we organized a barbeque for the mackenzie family today, just to ask them out and help to fill their holiday :D

it was rather last minute, or more accurately, VERY last minute. booking of pits and food was only done yesterday, and thanks to baifeng for co-organizing and booking the pit @ punggol park (ironically in hougang, and next to sengkang fire station), as well as going all the way down to aljunied and carrying the food to the park! and xc who bought the equipment and had to endure my ranting yesterday when i was irritated at the lack of plans! and of course, hubert as well, for buying the drinks, together with russell who bought the drinks when we ran out :D

it was really successful, albeit the passing showers which struck. the fire was good, started really quickly. food was perfectly cooked, entertainment was present, what more could be asked for? :D eventually hubert brought them to the singapore flyer to catch the 9.30 one, and we had to finish up the food and drinks, so we played 猜拳 to decide who had to eat the chicken wings and drink the drinks, while waiting for the heavenly stingrays and sotongs to simmer on the grill (:

i hoped the family enjoyed themselves, although we still were abit shy to approach and chat with them. cause we did xD.

haha omg i went to k for the first time in my life today! i went with like wenhao, yufan and jj to teo heng @ katong, and it was quite enjoyable lah. oh, but it was freaking cold -.- and like after a few hours it became very sian cause of like the million 孙燕姿 songs played. but at least the high mode was brought out about again when wenhao sang wasted by carrie underwood xD.

but the freaking cold room, not to mention hour-long bus rides gave me a headache while i was on the bus, cause it's so sian to sit there for so freaking long in that cramped bus seat. sbs should just like widen the space between the bus seats, instead of making there look like there are so many seats, but most of them with no leg space -.-

oh oh oh and the 43 broke down on the way to katong, super amusing :D at least now i have this complementary ticket which i didn't drop into the coin area to keep as a souvenir :D

i swear bowling's just as good as gambling, once you're on a roll you can't stop! i just played like five games today, which is the most number of bowling games i've played in a row, which burnt a hole in my pocket with a cost of $11.40 -.-

at least i was quite pleased with my bowling form, considering i haven't bowled in a long while! and i'm still the same old 'can spare cannot strike' bowler ):

115 86 91 117. last game was just a playing round to curl the ball, so i didn't count it :D

well, just came back from bbq about an hour ago, and i'm really tired even though i bathed already =/ was quite enjoyable i guess, since got to see several people i haven't seen in a long while, like pF :D

and like the prev bbq, it rained when we were about to finish cooking. at least we got the warning signs, which appeared as a really strong gale which never died down, and blew for at least fifteen minutes before the drizzle came upon us. initially we took refuge at macs, and ordered a large amount of mcflurry, but got bored and shifted to marina bowl to bowl heh. and i screwed up my game man, cause i can't even remember when the last time i touched a bowling ball was. at least i regained some form at the end where i made two spares in a row, but was too late! but i beat ningyu HAHA (:

my parents were supposed to pick me up at about 2230, but they came about 2300 instead, so i spent the rest of the time by bridging, which turned out to be only two games which i wonnnn. and home sweet home it was, giving fen a lift home at the same time. and so i've no idea why i'm here blogging, when i'm supposed to try to finish my work while i'm dead tired.

i still think we're drifting, cause communication between us is so minimal nowadays.

it's been a long long time since i've felt up to blogging, and i guess i'm finally feeling better after weeks :D thanks for all who were concerned over me, and sorry to make you worry =/

today being racial harmony day, was a self-declared slack day, and we burnt the whole morning playing the sepak tekraw soccer in class again. however, i now have a disjointed knee which feels rather weird, and feels out of place. yoga was a complete waste of time i must say, it was more of like a gaming session.

at least there was pool after that, baifeng ryan tianci ningyu samuel wenhao and me! out of form cause haven't touched pool for ages, but at least i managed to regain abit of form at the end. and i fell asleep at the lan shop while waiting for ms tai to finish her lessons, cause dota was simply too boring.

ah and damn, i spilt my milo during dinner time, and ended up with verara laughing at me throughout! but at least it's good to see close ones again after such a long period of depression, and it kinda lifted my spirits to see her again (: but stop being a worrywart! :D and that's it for now, cause i'm falling asleep. overslept like a thousand and one times just now on the way home x.x
