haha anyway, my ankle's kinda screwed now. was just kicking the ball around, then did some defending and suddenly the ball hit my leg before i got a firm foothold. as a result, it knocked me off my feet (cause the ball's heavier than normal) and i collapsed on my poor ankle. at least it's fine, just feels mildly weird and unable to rotate. hope it recovers soon.

promos promos. they're approaching swiftly yet stealthily, awhile ago there was still more than two months ago. i've just realised i've been super slackish ever since blocks ended, like i've been sleeping in ALOT of lectures, and not doing my tutorials and wasting my time in school. i shall thus, attempt to change for the better. jiayou me.

OH LOOK. after 55.5 days without a phone, i am finally contactable again :D yes i've finally replaced my sim card so all you people who have missed messaging me can do so freely again (:

haha blocks are nearing, deb just told me it's only three days away omg. so scary. i think it'll be quite fun actually to stayover at someone's house which is nearer to school so i can mug later into the night and spend less time travelling. plus can mug together and offer help to each other too! anyone wants to invite me to their house (:

collected new specs today :D it's whiteeeee and hui says it's aa! but i think it's quite nice, just that hmm. it's abit different from my old specs so it'll take abit of time to adjust i think. plus i can see more of the frames from the corners of my eyes cause it's kinda wider at that part of the frame.

took a break today and played mahjong (: beginner's luck occurred today for someone! in the end i lost quite alot, not unusual (oops double negative) considering i usually get a net loss in value of chips after the end of several rounds.

oh lookie, i haven't updated for quite awhile now! but causecause i've been busy mugging for the two tests i had midweek, and dad came back from shenzhen so after workshop on sat, went to singapore flyer cause aunt managed to get seven free tickets for family day. then i had meeting after that too, so basically i'm only free now (:

HAHA i just realised i totally forgot about this blogpost and was tagging photos. i suck right omg. okay i just finished tagging and uploading all the frisbee photos after filtering. sadly i don't know how to process them yet, but i'll be learning how to next week during retreat (:

summer league was today, and it was our first win HAHAHA. okay it was against SIM and we only won cause of the j2s. we basically fed when the team comprised mainly of j1s. final score was 13-10, quite a good game i think, just insufficient play time for each person due to the large number of people who turned up on the first week on holidays. ah well, it's 2.10 and i've spent hours ever since the beginning of this post. i don't know what to do tomorrow, i don't feel like mugging on the very first weekday of the holidays, but i have to start soon D:

OH. and someone told me that we've bumped into each other everyday, and that it was a blessing. totally made my day with the comment (: doubt you read this but thank you!

fluuu. the flu annoys me. it all started when i koped some nutella ice cream from qihao, and i stupidly forgot he was sick. only after i stuffed it in my mouth, did he remind me he was sick -.- now i have a weird burning sensation at the back of my throat accompanied with small amounts of phlegm, as well as a runny nose! so don't steal my food if you dont wanna get sick :D

watched the volleyball team today, apparently it's the first time they've entered finals, and they clinched the gold ((: some of the spikes/services were really sweet, but it was even better to watch the players throw everything they have just to save the ball from the ground! haha it's something special which every ball sports person will understand, but not something which everyone is able to appreciate, the extent at which a player/sportsman will give up just to fight for the ball. reminds me of my polo days heh.

oh and so i'm back home early again. don't wanna think about math nor econs, can't be bothered with it since it's past already. i wanna catch up with people! holidays holidays quick come x)

thanks for not abandoning my blog even though i haven't updated in weeks cause i've been totally packed and had my hands tied down! okay it's not like i'm very free now but i'm going to update just for you! yes you, stop looking around, YOU!

today has been a happy happy day, i don't know why, but it just is! maybe it's cause i didn't have sufficient sleep and am deluded and hypnotized into believing it's a great day today (: it started off with econs timed assignment which i didn't finish but not really bothered about it since it's past already, and my essay horribly lacked diagrams. then lessons, lectures, blahblah. amazingly, i've never forgotten to bring my lecture notes to school before (cause i never ever take them out HAHA) but today i forgot to bring two sets of notes, namely chem and econs! thus, the two lectures were spent doing nonsense.

thenthen, i fell asleep during chem tutorial cause the weather was so nice to sleep :\ it was raining heavily outside, with the aircon on and depressing class tests results, factors contributing to a sleepy me :D the rain was rather depressing anyway, so i decided to binge abit, although the food the canteen sells is hardly even filling.

i originally wanted to go home early, but frisbee and chess made me change my mind (: the rain eventually stopped too, and the sun came out so my mood was slightly better toooo. then.. i had candy (: and tried juggling and entertaining myself till it was almost six already. and i still have PI to do and complete by tonight so submit for first draft (: random factfile! my PI which i spent the whole day thinking of was rejected :D

oh oh and council elections are tomorrow, i don't know what to expect. heh heh :D AND I HAD BEN & JERRY'S OMG HAHAHAHA :DDDD

heh heh i've been able to get on the internet already, although i just feel horribly lazy to update. i'm currently located in 深圳, although i've just been back from 桂林 and 阳朔! the air here is much worse than that of singapore, and the people here have an insane appetite for cigarettes too! like one meal of dim sum and there people go smoking three cigarettes through them.

holiday's been fine so far, hope you all are taking care of yourselves! don't miss me too much (: think i'm gonna sleep soon cause it's getting cold. actually the temperature's much better here than that of the previous days, cause the level of pollution in 深圳 is so much higher, thus more dust particles are present to trap heat!

oh and the china filter is so irritating, it like filters out xanga and wordpress, probably cause they're too westernized for the chinese! it's probably to slow down the rate of westernization in cheena, but it just irks me cause i can't check out blogs.

omg D: i just watched an episode of life transformers on chnl 8 just now, and it's really really really so touching. it was about this ordinary family who met this series of misfortunes, where the mother after giving birth to her child for two months, had a bad fall while cooking and couldn't walk much anymore cause of a spinal injury. then the father had a heredity diabetics, and had his leg amputated when his toe got infected during delivery.

but the girl is really really super sensible, her name is like chunfang, and cause both her parents are illiterate, she has to learn everything on her own in school and she puts in super alot of effort in her work! and then, on top of that she has to cook meals, clean the house, help with her dad's newspaper stall and ace her studies at the same time.

i think they are really strong, chunfang's mum has a phobia of walking cause after she fell, she was on a wheelchair but fell again when chunfang was pushing her at the age of five, thus now she doesn't do anything except sit in bed, which causes her leg to shrink and staying in the room everyday for nine years is just as good as solitary confinement, thus she isn't very healthy mentally as well.

there's the dad, even though all he wanted was an ordinary family to lead an ordinary life, his life turned for the worse. even then, he's pushed on for like nine years, earning like a meagre wage and trying to do his best to educate his daughter.

but i think the most resilient one is really chunfang. there was a part where 权怡凤asked her if she wanted to have new things like pencils, bears and such, and her reply was no. why? 不敢想. and i was like AHH, cause it really melted my heart D: then she believes that one day her mum will walk also, cause she remembers when her mum fell off the wheelchair, she took two steps before she fell again, and her faith in her mum is like unwavering! and she just does everything without a word of complaint. then when she got a new bed, she was just so happy, smiling from ear to ear!

ya but there was someone who stole their gas and cans, which were gifts from people, while they were cleaning the whole house, even though they're already like so poor and the police station is also right downstairs. omg ahh, the episode really just made my heart go out to the unfortunate, i think i shall like do more voluntary work and donate to charity next time when i start earning a steady income!

haha i am shocked at how my BMI used to be 15.6 in p3, and 15.8 in s2! like even people who have a BMI of 17 are usually anorexic people, and there's no way i'm anorexic considering how much i eat -.- and people with BMI of 15 are usually starving! like YA I'M STARVING.

at least it's a normal 18.9 now haha! okay that was totally random :D

heh, it's the end of the week, and half of the exams! and so this calls for celebration, by just a blog post xD.

just updates on how i've been doing for exams, or at least what i THINK i've been doing. monday was chinese, so-so, was rather blank cause it was the first day. ended up writing rubbish. tuesday was better i thought, but it turned out horrible with 62 for math, meaning i currently require 89 for monday's paper -.- wednesday. english! shawn's notes proved really really useful, thanks! i ended up spending more time on srq than compo in the end, cause i finished it in 45min ;D yesterday!! was really really a morale booster. bio that is. and today's chem was manageable, looks quite positive to me too (:

okay. so enough of that large, boring chunk of text. today's headlines are on how primary schools are going to change in future, like eventually becoming single session throughout, forcefully implementing compulsory CCA, and increasing CCA administrators.

which is kinda sad i think, cause i remember enjoying my p1 and p3 life, where it was afternoon session for my school xD. then then, it was when i could watch tv every night until 12 and wake up at my own time the next morning! and so, gone are those days, now i still sleep at 12, just that i wake up like 4 hours earlier -.-
