hmmm i feel quite at a loss now. i'm back home before the sun sets for the first time in.. three months or so. in other words, i've been staying back in school ever since orientation! well, it's kinda irresistable since the class bench system thing totally promotes interaction between people, and i enjoy loitering around school looking for other friends to mug/play/flick/slack with (:

in fact, i think i've made like a million new friends just by crashing benches and wings, cause i decided to randomly say hi to friends' friends. then there's fris too, where us j1s are totally nuts over flicking in central plaza and the ends of the two wings, or the field when it's not that hot. it totally keeps us in school for hours, sometimes for a period of time equivalent or even longer than training! passion.

okay i really don't know what i should do now, i lack motivation to do work since i usually do work only in school before i come home to slack. plus today is like the usually stay till very late day, since mum has class and won't be back till around ten plus after she leaves for class. dang, i should ask someone out now to like mug with me through the night then come home later or something, else i suspect i'm just going to waste the day.


ohhh. i just got back from iluma anyway, it's quite a pretty place but rather empty like the newspaper said! half the class went to filmgarde to watch X Men Origins: Wolverine, and it wasn't that bad. the special effects were good (: but the ending was kinda sad imo. watch it yourself, no spoilers here! the peranakan museum prior to the movie was quite pointless, as we just went about as a class not absorbing anything at all, but just making imprints of stuff like dragons and phoenixes, and taking photos. at least it was a break from school!

glad that it's finally the march holidays! although it really isn't much of a holiday since my week is quite packed, nonetheless, i'm quite thankful for the break after these few weeks of hectic activity.

school's been loading us with a never-ending(limits :D) pile of work to do ever since the first week of orientation ended! since then, it's been the routine stay back in school till evening/night to do tutorials/mug and go home for dinner. almost every single night, i come home totally exhausted and end up falling asleep on the floor! i hope i don't burn out eventually, cause i think studying in school is much much more productive than doing so at home, and it's much nicer than home too (:

so, updates! time has flashed past, tests have arrived already, loads of activities too! post-orientation party, dramafeste (which was kinda disappointing), frisbee, etc etc. birthday celebrations, x-country, study groups, and loads of other fun but exhaustive activities!

holidays will be packed toooo. monday and tuesday are booked by the disease workshop in school. wednesday's reserved for frisbee in the morning, edwin's housewarming till evening/night, and stayover and jieqi's house which will drag till thursday (: then there's frisbee once again on friday, and not sure if i should go out on saturday!

yeah so i think i should start on my homework soon yes, cause looking at my schedule, i probably will have hardly any time to do work at all =/

HAHA CAMPFIRE WAS HIGH. totally rocked. it's probably the most grand campfire opening i've seen, there were torches of each of the four faculties lit in their own colours (artemis's couldn't light but that's not the point). images koped courtesy of o8s6v seniors!



then the fireball/flame was dropped from tian tang into the beacon to light the main campfire (:



after that dominic went to light the theme for the year up (:



the campfire was really really a spectacular display, and thanks for the effort put in to make it possible (: i think i had the most fun in my life on that day! i totally cheered till i got a headache, screamed for the fun of it,and mass danced! (: the best thing was that apollo made history that night by claiming double champions, something our seniors have never done!! presenting our class flag/banner, which won :)



a14 won the performance as well, and i still found the original uneditted version more entertaining, but i guess it was less appropriate to be shown to the whole school! they did a fantastic job as well, and apollo was totally HIGH HAHA after the results were announced :D

a really big thank you to all organizers and councillors and behind-the-sceners :D orientation '09 was a blast, and there would probably be nothing else like it. REV IT UP! :D

wargame's video was cool! it kinda served its purpose and revved everyone up, making people excited about it (: one word to sum it up would be: EXHAUSTIVE. it was fun in a certain sense, although not so fun for the girls i think cause i heard some people got groped =/ and yes it was extremely tiring cause i was running about tackling the runners trying to penetrate our human wall.

we didn't win in the end, but what i really loved was the apollo spirit present, like when there were people infiltrating, it took only one shout of 'defence' to get the whole wall re-organized (: indeed, we did fight well! only that the talk after the end was extremely draggy, and everyone was worn out and being fried by the sun while the councillor was still happily calling for photos and chatting away D:

sodache was after campfire prep, and hopefully our performance turns out well. it (performance) seems really impressive and something only a musically inclined class can do! i totally died and ran out of steam, so i was stoned >< sorry partner!

o9s7g is crazy i tell you. we're probably the most high and enthu apollo class! well, the girls in our class are like super enthusiastic about everything, even during yesterday when it was our very first day as a CT, they didn't hold back anything to cheer as well! then there's the guys as well, although i don't know anyone of them personally at first, we've mingled and mixed around and i realised that they're actually quite humorous (:

the ct games were quite alright again, it was mainly the people who made it fun, and not the games (: was a good chance to bond with the class i guess, with alot of nonsense appearing midway, like guys running ahead and hiding in the bushes :X in fact, our class was so on that we decided to run back to school from the botanical gardens, and another apollo class copied us and ran too! apparently i was really hot (pun not intended ;D) that jun an could totally feel the heat emitting from within me! he was complaining that one side was perspiring while the other side was cool -.-

oh haha. i've only completed four of nine pages of summarized notes, and i've given up. i'm going insane already, it's a totally impossible task! let there be mercy upon me tomorrow morning D:
