aye, yesterday marked the end of interjc. although we got totally thrashed, coming in last position with 0 scores at all, i can say i truly enjoyed the experience. threw everything i had in some of the games, and it really encouraged me when i was told that i was doing well (:

the field was horrendous in the morning as it drizzled when all of us arrived at the field. the best thing was that we got the muddier pool, which had mud which we could literally slide on! by the first point, i was muddy alr even without touching the ground at all. (other than my feet of course) haha but i put in all that i had in the rj and acjc games, especially the latter! was totally a morale booster when i managed to tap the disc to d kelvyn (who attempted a dive and knocked portia into a puddle HAHAHA), plus they nominated me best player yay :D :D /edit: okay i keep thinking that previous sentence makes me sound horribly ego and proud, but i think it really provided a source of encouragement, else i wouldn't even remember it no? i'm not an egoistic person, usually i'm kidding :/

plus plus, our team A claimed third position which ended with a spectacular layout by sijie, and pearlyn got an mvp award so the day ended in rather high spirits (: celebrated after that at vivo with b&j which raphael treated us to and played murderer and bought food blahblahblah. reached home dead beat and collapsed on the bed. heh :D

but it marked the end of their official frisbee career for the j2s, so technically it was our last time playing with them as a team. now they belong to the alumni (old) hohoho. however, this means we'll have more coaches next year, meaning that we'll each receive a higher average attention to guide us on to improve. come to think of it, i wonder what the intake for next year's j1s will be. hmm.

HAHAHA i just remembered on the way home, i was sleeping on the train. then i dreamt of flicking, and i hucked! so my stupid brain made my hand jerk not once, but TWICE while asleep HAHA. so paiseh.

oh lookie, i haven't updated for quite awhile now! but causecause i've been busy mugging for the two tests i had midweek, and dad came back from shenzhen so after workshop on sat, went to singapore flyer cause aunt managed to get seven free tickets for family day. then i had meeting after that too, so basically i'm only free now (:

HAHA i just realised i totally forgot about this blogpost and was tagging photos. i suck right omg. okay i just finished tagging and uploading all the frisbee photos after filtering. sadly i don't know how to process them yet, but i'll be learning how to next week during retreat (:

summer league was today, and it was our first win HAHAHA. okay it was against SIM and we only won cause of the j2s. we basically fed when the team comprised mainly of j1s. final score was 13-10, quite a good game i think, just insufficient play time for each person due to the large number of people who turned up on the first week on holidays. ah well, it's 2.10 and i've spent hours ever since the beginning of this post. i don't know what to do tomorrow, i don't feel like mugging on the very first weekday of the holidays, but i have to start soon D:

OH. and someone told me that we've bumped into each other everyday, and that it was a blessing. totally made my day with the comment (: doubt you read this but thank you!

csm today was full of rubbish again, no different from the past four years (: just that we didn't have a nice classroom to hide in anymore this year, since we no longer belong to high school, thus us fris people ended up wandering around different parts of the school searching for forms of entertainment, in vain.

was quite entertaining when we were standing at the first floor of block A and melvin just exclaimed that someone managed to sneak into the classroom. then the poor npcc guy asked us to move to a side so we wouldnt block the door and went in to check.. to find an empty class :D

our best attempt was block D classrooms, where we nearly made it unnoticed, but someone just happened to find us.

was quite epic cause he really didn't know how to react, and by some form of telekinesis, we all decided to stone and not react at all! of course we weren't that dumb to remain in the class after he left, so we just sat outside of the same class along the corridor, which turned out to be legal -.- how retarded.

flicked along the grass patch for awhile after we stoned for too long. OH AND PLAYED WITH DSLRs HAHA OMG THEY'RE TOTALLY LOVE AHHH. yangxuan was totally running from me and i used it as a tool to chase the npccs away too :DDD ah well. okay i suddenly don't feel like finishing up this post. bye. poof.

hohoho, got back not long ago from the acsi frisbee championships thing. it was a good experience playing with better teams, and quite heartening to see my team improve logarithmically with each passing game (:

the beginning was quite screwed up cause they deliberately organised us such that we would burn each other by playing against our own teams in the first few rounds of prelims. we started off kinda messy with just weird timings for cuts, and jamming up our available space in the already puny field. bad start and won 2-1 against team 4 thankfully, and improved just a little bit against team 3, with a score of 3-1. jiajie scored a point spectacularly by turning on his toes like a ballet dancer for 180 degrees when i threw a bad throw, and he landed on the ground with the disc :D

the real games only started when we played against rj though. i think that was really our best game, with much prettier cuts and handling. i scored two by layouts, although kinda got lucky with them. totally felt like an acrobat by lunging forwards, and even doing a mid-air forward somersault for the second point to save it before it left end zone. still lost 3-2, but was a splendid morale booster since it was an rj team :D

got totally thrashed 6-0 and 4-0 by acjc teams though, but they were rather good, especially the first ac team which eventually won the whole tournament. the other wasn't that great, but we just messed up our defence. okay getting slightly lazy to analyse the matches. overall it was a good experience though, and learnt quite abit about skills required by deeps from huanzi. might seem a little insane but.. i'm sort of aiming to be a deep with a 100% catch rate no matter what, so i guess i'll have to work hard for it (:

just remembered about the theft cases. i don't know why retarded people are so desperate as to steal bags and second-hand frisbees. if i'm not wrong, there was a total of three bags and seven frisbees missing. who in the world steals bags anyway, even if you steal just take the valuables and leave the bag behind? and jasmine's disc disappeared too, so we've decided we'll order a new disc for her since she's been so kind as to loan us her disc to mutilate in central plaza all this while ><

hmmm i feel quite at a loss now. i'm back home before the sun sets for the first time in.. three months or so. in other words, i've been staying back in school ever since orientation! well, it's kinda irresistable since the class bench system thing totally promotes interaction between people, and i enjoy loitering around school looking for other friends to mug/play/flick/slack with (:

in fact, i think i've made like a million new friends just by crashing benches and wings, cause i decided to randomly say hi to friends' friends. then there's fris too, where us j1s are totally nuts over flicking in central plaza and the ends of the two wings, or the field when it's not that hot. it totally keeps us in school for hours, sometimes for a period of time equivalent or even longer than training! passion.

okay i really don't know what i should do now, i lack motivation to do work since i usually do work only in school before i come home to slack. plus today is like the usually stay till very late day, since mum has class and won't be back till around ten plus after she leaves for class. dang, i should ask someone out now to like mug with me through the night then come home later or something, else i suspect i'm just going to waste the day.


ohhh. i just got back from iluma anyway, it's quite a pretty place but rather empty like the newspaper said! half the class went to filmgarde to watch X Men Origins: Wolverine, and it wasn't that bad. the special effects were good (: but the ending was kinda sad imo. watch it yourself, no spoilers here! the peranakan museum prior to the movie was quite pointless, as we just went about as a class not absorbing anything at all, but just making imprints of stuff like dragons and phoenixes, and taking photos. at least it was a break from school!

got my cleats on saturday after bio lecture on sat morning and after an hour of pool. woke up slightly late, thought i'd be late for lecture but i made it in time, or at least just about a min late.

i can only say it was much much better than normal lectures cause it's half an hour longer, thus the pacing's slower (: but there was a stupid guy beside me whom i shall not name. he came in late, made someone his scapegoat. then he like pulled my bag away from the seat unceremoniously so that he could sit there and hide. i wouldn't have minded half as much if he didn't start chatting to me all the time, or whipping out his handphone to play and didn't even bother bringing his notes. he even asked me why i'm so hardworking as to copy the blanks wth. and i bet he didn't brush his teeth.

fris was after that, we were taught zonal def which was quite fail imo, cause it was rushed and wasn't taught properly =/ plus we don't exactly have the right fitness level to maintain the cup formation. played pool, off form as expected.

shopping with siewying and e-hui. walked around the whole queensway shopping centre and an hour and a half passed without me noticing! finally decided on this red and black pair which was $35, a steal for adidas (: siewying got the same pair too cause her gold one didn't have her size! we saw millions of other nice shoes too, which made me determined to sdtart saving money so i can buy nice shoes for going out (: the baby shoes were super cute too, but just a ripoff!(they cost more than my new pair of boots)

today was summerleague's opening game so i decided to go for it even after telling daryl that i wouldn't be participating. we played in a pond O: and everytime the disc landed, there would be spectacular splashes :D basically we were like what, just a step away from wading in the pond and playing! pretty layouts included jiawei sliding into a puddle, and the guy from the other team lunging into the water heh heh. plus someone there was doing layouts like how a soccer keeper lunges to make saves! we lost 6-10, but was considerably well-played and an invaluable experience (:

on a side noteee. i think i should work harder to be even more sensitive. totally detest being dense.

mm went for frisbee outing yesterday, it was supposed to start at 11am @ ECP but i was kinda feeling lazy and had to do stuffs at home too so i only left at around 2.45 to head there. it ended up raining heavily halfway, so i met them at parkway instead. luckily i called xinmei before attempting to walk there, else i would be stranded alone in the rain at ecp while they made their way to parkway!

did nothing much actually, but was more of the company (: played pool, had relatively acceptable form so was quite enjoyable. my table had weijie, jiajie and oli, and it was super funny HAHA. weijie's was like the king of all the flukes, no matter how he hit the cue ball, a ball will go in :D the most spectacular one was when he did a shot against the rail, and the cue ball rebounded to hit another to cut cleanly into the middle hole, we were totally.. stunned. it was like a ninety degree cut.

after that was dinner at a random isolated corner of parkway. all of us split up to buy food since we couldn't come to a consensus, and i ended up binging again heh. beef noodles, cheesecake, choco, sotong balls and a litre of vitasoy. left slightly before nine, and i abandoned the rest and rushed down to catch the hourly shuttle bus back to sengkang, since i didn't feel like taking 43 home. should have more random outings like these, and to those who couldn't make it, have to make it next time!

oh oh, the hcult played the spot the difference game and we managed to break into the highscores. we're registered as Bad Name, since hcult was rejected (:
