dumdeedum. i was reminded last night that my blog is dying soon, and since i have faithful visitors calling for updates, i will uhm, update! okay.
guess what, school's like reopening on monday already, and i think i have to be there at 0745 if my memory doesn't fail me. and then certain people can afford to go to school at like 1100, like completely unfair. D: i think i'm quite looking forward to jc life, since i've heard it's like where you play hard and mug hard, but at the same time abit apprehensive cause of the huge challenge that's gonna really sink in only next year, the As.
okay i have no idea why i'm even bothering myself with As like when i haven't even started school. and another thing is what cca to join i guess. currently in mind is interact, provided i can get myself through the interviews. otherwise, idk what else to join! school's gonna start with just some weird science forum thing, following by lectures, lectures and.. you guessed it, more lectures. but i don't see a point in going for subjects you've already made up your mind to drop!!
okay shucks, i realised I TOTALLY GOT DISTRACTED. i'm like ironing my uniform halfway and i came to blog?!

yesterday it just seemed that i stepped into hc. the classroom at the top right of the block, the corner classroom which encompassed a pretty view of many areas of the school. the desks lined up in three rows, paired together.
the classroom we shifted to. newsweek balls concealing paper shreds. smashed windows. broken fire extinguisher. exploring paths to evade bookings. sepak tekraw. classroom soccer. maniacal laughter in lessons. entertaining teachers. all soon to be gone like the wind, a thing of the past, only to be engraved in the memories at the back of our minds.
i'm really thankful to have landed in what seems the two best iSpark classes in terms of the people there. two 'L, you guys were really great, we had great times together, and were really bonded, despite many differences which lay between us. disagreements arose of course, but it was never kept within, but just spewed out and settled. when i thought that nothing could get better, along came four 'O. you guys were beyond description. you erased my misunderstandings about two 'M, you showed me what real classroom joy was.
what i feel now is really beyond words i guess. throughout this year, all i've been thinking about is to look forward to jc, but only now has the reality set in, that we're all going to split up. no doubt, we're still enclosed within the same boundaries, but we've reached the crossroads and it's time to part.
special thanks to those in school who have really played a significant role in my life.
wenhao:
we're quite different in many areas i guess, and it was really my fortune that i got to know you better. you're really a great person to hang out with, to chat with, and just your personality's special! although we don't talk much anymore ever since we split classes in sec three, it's still a joy to hang around you on occasions.
xuancheng:
i always found you to be slightly eccentric in lower sec, but got around that. adelaide really gave me the opportunity to understand you better, and to just realise how fun a person you are.
cavin:
been hanging around you ever since sec one, and i was your accomplice in the formation of the explosive newsweek balls. i still remember the laughter we brought about when confetti erupted from the innermost layer. i moved away from you for a period of time, for no reason whatsoever, but you've been a great friend nonetheless, the fellow slacker.
baifeng:
i only got to know you well after adelaide, and mainly this year i guess. you were too popular for me i guess, since i didn't really like hanging around stars in the school. but i got to know you better in the later days, and realizing how entertaining you really are, although you're some busy man (:
russell:
someone else i got to know better in adelaide as well, fun-loving, really random. really nice too, extremely entertaining and enjoyable to hang around with, as well as crashing his house. have a nice flight to toronto!
dahwei:
perhaps one of my greatest regrets. i remember just how surprised i was, when i saw you on day one in my class. i remembered you from LP, the times during the lessons where we would just do rubbish with eugene. the top left table, the guys' table, still deep within my memories. i remember how you sufferred for a duration when some of us went overboard in lower sec, and you ended up with bruises. our parents even went to the point of asking us to keep away from each other, but there wasn't much effect. and especially adelaide, i really enjoyed the times with you, the photo i took with you on the slide.
but i don't know what happened ever since then, for you just appeared to have transformed completely this year, i couldn't even talk to you anymore. never mind the closeness, we didn't even seem to know each other anymore, just like any other acquaintances. till today, i'm still in the dark. maybe it was something i did, perhaps it was something which came between us, but the result of our friendship is probably the greatest regret i have in school.

actually, i feel really really lazy to update. like right now, after typing one sentence for my new blogpost, i find that i have been distracted and sidetracking to do other stuff! plus my ulcer on the tongue hurts as i'm eating my apple ):
okay so back to the main point of this blogpost! thursday night was iSpark night, which meant that it would be the last time us as sec4s would be attending it as a student from the high school side, as a class. and so, since we weren't expecting to perform nor to pass the auditions (not that we wanted to anyway), we didn't prepare and we were really shocked when we were picked to perform o.O oh guess what, i just got distracted again!
okay, so, we performed a song + dance + forming 'four o', and more details are found on youtube! or just the embed video found below.
oh, distracted again! yeayea sorrrehhh. short attention span (: the photo montages of iSpark sec4s were also screened, and i was struck with a feeling of nostalgia i guess. even though we're like gonna see each other again next year in college, there's no telling how we will go, and it's going to be our last year together as 4O, the completely cool class which craps so much during lessons, so bonded together, and just so random!
yep, and on to last night, the commencement dinner. it took place at hilton for all graduating sec4s, unless you like don't wanna turn up something. it was quite okay i guess, kinda fun with all the people in formal attire!
to be updated with photos (: (actually i'm just lazy to continue for now)

after deciding for such a long time, i don't know what made me make up my mind. i was so indecisive, had such a strong desire to quit, yet something out there pulled me back. i guess it's just the love for it, and all the years we've been through so many battles together. which just means, welcome to a div waterpolo. where holidays turn lifeless, where studies suffer, and where your body and mind undergoes torture.
and today was a complete demonstration of how much commitment i have to put in. training was 4-7+, and not to mention that training will be daily. which is utterly crazy, and extremely no life. and i think there was a curse on us or something, we were walking to dinner and it started pouring, so we decided to take a bus instead. then not a single bus turned up for like quite a long duration. (mind you the bus stop has twelve bus services) the moment the bus came, the rain stopped.
to show how arduous training is, and the amount of energy it burns, i ate mixed chicken rice (chicken and fish) at golden rooster, some sushi at cold storage, came back home at 9.30 to eat fried noodles and fish hor fun, and i'm still not full! plus i'm still overheating from the aftereffects of training ._.

rahh, i shall be self-motivated and finish studying for ihc today! not like i have a choice anyway, since the exam's tomorrow. it looks deceitfully little, but i shall not be misled and slack as a result!
and yesterday (several hours ago) marks the end of physics as a subject in my life :D i'm never ever ever going to take physics ever again. cause it just sucks. or i just suck at it (:
physics, you've been a great companion, staying by my side throughout these four years, and it's finally time for us to say goodbye. it pains me to think about the memories we've had together, the mind-boggling questions, the failure to apply formulae, and the number of failures we've chalked up together! and after so many years together, like all things, we have to say goodbye. i'll miss you, and hopefully i'll see you again somewhere, someday.
yea right.
oh, happy birthday ruiqi and happy children's day!

heh, it's the end of the week, and half of the exams! and so this calls for celebration, by just a blog post xD.
just updates on how i've been doing for exams, or at least what i THINK i've been doing. monday was chinese, so-so, was rather blank cause it was the first day. ended up writing rubbish. tuesday was better i thought, but it turned out horrible with 62 for math, meaning i currently require 89 for monday's paper -.- wednesday. english! shawn's notes proved really really useful, thanks! i ended up spending more time on srq than compo in the end, cause i finished it in 45min ;D yesterday!! was really really a morale booster. bio that is. and today's chem was manageable, looks quite positive to me too (:
okay. so enough of that large, boring chunk of text. today's headlines are on how primary schools are going to change in future, like eventually becoming single session throughout, forcefully implementing compulsory CCA, and increasing CCA administrators.
which is kinda sad i think, cause i remember enjoying my p1 and p3 life, where it was afternoon session for my school xD. then then, it was when i could watch tv every night until 12 and wake up at my own time the next morning! and so, gone are those days, now i still sleep at 12, just that i wake up like 4 hours earlier -.-

and so there were supplementary lessons today, as kah hong insists that it should be named this way, and not "remedials for noobs" -.- i was supposed to go to gym today to work out, but i realised that i didnt bring my pe shorts, and which i see no link as a requirement to do weights. yep, so after like touching a few pieces of equipment, some person chased everyone not wearing full pe out of the weights room and of course, that included me.
heh, after which i went to golden rooster with a few others to eat lunch, but was packed as usual. in order to find somewhere comfortable to eat, we walked all the way to a closed bar nearby and used the tables outside to eat, where we discussed all sorts of rubbish like the importance of money.
AAAND. i ate island creamery for the first time too, since we were rather bored and decided to random around! it turned out to be not bad i say, and i quite liked the nutella flavour, which four of us shared a 500ml tub. and it's kind affordable too, with the tub being just $8.00 and splitting into $2.00 each, the same price as my mcflurry, but with a much bigger and more satisfying portion.
all in all, was kind of fun today, just that it was really tiring since i slept late last night, and didn't manage to sleep on the train/bus this morning while on the way to school, so i knocked out the moment i reached home, and slept for about 2.5h ><
ohh, and i think i'm becoming damn sensitive to radiation. i was just talking on the phone just now for a few minutes on my phone, and after i put down my handphone, my ear felt as if it was sunburnt and damn hot. according to baifeng, my ear was rather red too, and as i'm typing this, the laptop happens to be extremely hot where my hands rest too, radiating large amounts of heat and leaving my hand feeling tingy =/

why do i have a freaking N.A. for chinese just because i didn't hand in one judged compo? it just doesn't make sense to base the term's marks mainly on one composition. if that's the case, the composition should have been a test and not a piece of homework -.-
and now the test results have little impact on the results, and are acting just like an assignment. thanks so much for giving me an additional F9 score to my MSG man. i really appreciate it. and thanks for the 4.33, and the third last position.

roar i'm feeling so sian again! i have a freaking boring but important testimonial to rush out no later by friday, but i just can't be bothered to think of my achievements and wonderfully oh so fantabulous adjectives to describe myself -.- and i think the me in school isn't the exactly natural 'me' personality, but some form of restricted one. so whatever i type in my testimonial, it might only apply to school!
oh and the main reason why i'm so bored, is cause my comp crashed on me =/ well i tried to solve the problem of the failure of updating windows, and to find the reason why my msn refused to be installed no matter how many times i poked and probed it. in the end i got all itchy handed and went to meddle with the registry keys and struck jackpot ._.
and so, currently my comp is under servicing becauseee.
1. double clicks no longer work.
2. nothing works.
3. refuses to be shut down.
4. refuses to load the user login page
5. freezes at the blue windows xp screen prior to login
oh and just in case you're wondering how i manage to mystifyingly appear online, it's just cause i'm using my dad/mum's laptop. and willsomeone entertain me please D:
there's bio olympiad quiz tomorrow AHH. sorry xc! no gym ):

niaghaha. it's sabbatical week this week! for the sake of non-hc people, it's a week where you choose a random course based on your interest (most of the time for marks which will count for end-of-year and cost), and attend it throughout the week in lieu of lessons. this occurs once a term, meaning we have four free weeks a year (:
mm, so mine's on the study of dystopia through films. and we started off by watching
Blade Runner today, which is an absolutely awesome movie made in 1982. the best thing about it is the twist at the end, which you won't realise unless you give it much thought and notice the symbolism of many of the happenings. although some portions are kinda gruesome, and it starts off a little slow. buttt, it has the typical 80s kind of feeling and background when they film it, and it's seriously attention grabbing and thought-provoking as it proceeds throughout the plot.
i'm kinda glad that i chose this sabbatical, and we'll be doing
AI,
Minority Report,
Children of Men and
I Am Legend throughout the week. what a way to destress, especially after knowing my fantabulous MSG, and amazing math results. it's movie mania this week! :D
hee, and happy birthday shihui (:

well, all i can say is that today was a rather interesting day, especially student forum lead by the useful student council. it was more of like an entertainment session than a forum!
quirky quotes:Student:
Why is the bubble tea shop going to be implemented beside the smelly toilet in the toilet block?Response:
Because the bubble tea shop will make the place fragrant.------------------------------------------------
Student:
Are we allowed to bring female friends to the batch dinner?Response: (talks some rubbish, in the end meaning no.)
Student:
Then how are we going to end the year with a BANG? [with reference to powerpoint which states that ending the year with a bang as an objective for the batch dinner]
and in the middle of assembly, JA just started laughing damn hard which was so contagious that baifeng and i started laughing for no apparent reason at all -.- by performing experiments, we have proven that JA is an evolved form of mankind, and has devised a method to contain laughter, and to release it afterwards. this was proven when we went to RV to present on our science topics, and he kept his laughter during the presentation. the moment he stepped out, he started laughing o.O
oh and, i officially conclude that AMC is made to mislead you -.- it started off with the first question being some simple subtraction question which required p1 math. and when it ended... i didn't know how to do a single open ended question ._. at least bio olympiad was interesting, and ngoh is really entertaining with his responses :D i didn't fare that badly for the quiz i guess, with like 22/32 for the quiz, although some people like dahwei who didn't study got 26 rawrr.

well, tomorrow's gonna be a long day for me. but firstly, it's going to be baifeng's birthday so happy birthday in advance since i probably won't be staying up till 12am (:
there's english common test tomorrow at 1415! which means that i'l be rushing out last minute revision in vain of absorbing some meaningful content which can be used for my essay and SRQ formatting tomorrow morning. and it'll last a gruelling 1h45min, before ending at 1600. and the day won't end there! there's still bio olympiad training after that from 1615, till probably 1815 or so. but it's our first training ever, so i'm kinda interested as to what will happen and what'll be taught.
on a lighter note, at least there's assembly tomorrow, meaning that at least there are less lessons than a normal curriculum day, which means more time to recover. and to study as well.
i think i'm starting to gain momentum in studying, starting to enjoy it and throwing away gaming nowadays (: besides mousehunt and fish wrangler which are passive games for pastimes that is. i feel quite accomplished that i actually finished my compo at home, and half of the chem spa practices we're supposed to do, considering i'm half asleep and singing away with the music from my subwoofer.
